Who can see your photos and profile on Kimari?
Understand source photos, approved Coffee Portraits, introductions, concierge access and the limits of privacy before joining.

On a small screen, swipe tables sideways to read every column.
Kimari does not provide a public member directory. Other members receive an approved Coffee Portrait and relevant profile information through private introductions. Your original source photo is not shown to them. This distinction matters: the illustration you approve for an introduction and the photo used to create it are different things.
This guide is published by Kimari and explains the service’s current public policy. It is not an independent privacy certification. The Privacy Notice is the full reference for processing, providers and retention.
Follow the information through the process
| Information | Who can receive or access it | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Source photo | Providers involved in generating the portrait, after your permission | “Private” does not mean no service provider processes it |
| Approved portrait and relevant profile details | Members receiving your private introduction; operating staff as needed | Review what you approve and what you write |
| Individual relationship feedback | Concierge staff operating the service | Individual answers are not shown to the other member as individual answers |
| Coffee group messages | People in that group and the concierge | Write with the group audience in mind |
| Direct concierge conversation or safety report | The service team handling it | These are not shared as group messages |
The Privacy Notice describes these audiences. Mutual decisions can enable a next step without revealing someone’s exact private answer. Do not assume that a concierge’s coordination message means you are entitled to see the other person’s feedback.
Review the portrait as something you will share
Before approving a Coffee Portrait, consider whether you are comfortable with it representing you. It is an AI-generated illustration, not an identity certificate, a background check or a photograph of a date that happened. Kimari’s safety page explains this distinction.
Ask yourself:
- Am I comfortable with a person receiving an introduction seeing this image?
- Does the accompanying profile contain information I intended to share?
- Have I put an exact workplace, routine, contact detail or other unnecessary identifier in free text?
- Is there anything I want clarified before approving or proceeding?
A person who knows you may still recognise you. An illustration should not be treated as a promise of anonymity.
Share enough to explain yourself, without writing your whole biography
You may want to describe what Sikhi means in your daily life, your interests, or what kind of relationship you hope for. Consider whether an exact place, person’s name or schedule is needed to make that point. “I enjoy volunteering locally” may communicate your interest without naming where you will be at a particular time.
This is a writing suggestion, not a claim that every optional field can be hidden separately. If you need to know whether a specific field appears in an introduction, ask support before adding it.
Private delivery cannot recall a screenshot
A private introduction limits how the service presents information. It cannot guarantee that a recipient never saves or shares something they have seen. The same caution applies to group messages and photographs shared during an ordinary conversation.
Agree before forwarding another person’s profile or photo to a friend or family member. Avoid sharing someone else’s feedback as a way to seek advice. You can describe your own uncertainty without distributing identifying material.
Declining and deleting are different decisions
You can decline an introduction or decide not to continue a relationship. That is different from deleting your account. If you want to leave the service and request removal of account data, follow the account deletion instructions.
Deletion has operational and record-retention limits, and copies already saved by other people cannot be recalled. Read the current notice rather than assuming that stopping search erases everything.
Questions to ask before joining
If a point is still unclear, contact Kimari through Support and name the specific information you mean: “Would this profile detail be shown in an introduction?” is easier to answer than “Is everything private?” Do not send your password, verification code or an unnecessary source photo with the question.
Review how introductions work alongside the privacy information. You should understand both the opportunity to meet someone and the information you choose to share to make that possible.
